When hair feels dry, fragile, rough, overprocessed, or difficult to manage, I begin by identifying what the hair can realistically support. A treatment can improve feel and appearance, but severely compromised hair may also need a haircut, color adjustment, or longer-term plan.

Heat, chemical services, lightening, friction, environmental stress, and delayed haircuts can leave the ends split and the hair difficult to style. The visible problem may require more than one product or appointment.

I focus on realistic improvement—not impossible repair claims.
I evaluate porosity, elasticity, breakage, split ends, chemical history, home care, and the current shape. I then explain whether Split End Mender, a conditioning treatment, a precision haircut, or an adjustment to future color is most appropriate.

Should I choose a treatment or haircut?
